A public health emergency is an adverse event that poses a significant risk to the health of a population. It can be caused by an infectious disease outbreak, a natural disaster, a bioterrorist attack, or other catastrophic events that threaten public health.

Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) Training

CERT training is an intensive 20-hour training designed to prepare a community for a major disaster. CERT training is a positive and realistic approach to emergency and disaster situations where citizens will initially be on their own, and their actions can make a difference.
